See your ubank accounts in Cove

Connect ubank to Cove Money through the Consumer Data Right and see your ubank Spend and Save accounts and home loan in one calm, read-only view.

ubank is NAB's digital bank, built around the simple Spend and Save account pairing — and many people run several Save accounts for different goals. Connect ubank to Cove and your Spend, Saves and home loan appear in one calm view, with spending categorised automatically.

Good to know: ubank is part of the NAB group but is its own data holder under the CDR — connecting ubank and connecting NAB are separate things.

Security and the Consumer Data Right

Cove connects through the Consumer Data Right, Australia's regulated open banking system — not screen scraping. Cove Money operates as a CDR Representative of Fiskil Pty Ltd, an ACCC-accredited data recipient. Access is strictly read-only: Cove can see balances and transactions, but it can never move money, make payments, or change anything in your ubank accounts. You can revoke access at any time, from Cove or from your bank's data sharing dashboard.

ubank FAQs

Is connecting ubank to Cove safe?

Cove's access is read-only and runs through Australia's Consumer Data Right. Cove Money operates as a CDR Representative of Fiskil Pty Ltd, an ACCC-accredited data recipient, and you approve the connection inside ubank's own login — Cove never sees your ubank password. You can revoke access at any time.

Is connecting ubank the same as connecting NAB?

No. ubank is part of the NAB group but is a separate data holder under the Consumer Data Right. Connect ubank for your ubank accounts, and NAB separately if you bank there too.

Do my ubank Save bonus interest conditions change if I connect Cove?

No. Cove's access is read-only — it never makes transactions on your accounts, so any bonus interest conditions on your Save accounts are unaffected.

Does Cove work with ubank joint accounts?

Joint accounts can be shared under the Consumer Data Right, though ubank may first ask each account holder to approve data sharing for the account. If a joint account doesn't appear in Cove, check the data sharing settings in your ubank banking.

Does ubank charge for connecting to Cove?

No. Sharing your data under the Consumer Data Right is free for consumers — ubank doesn't charge for it, and Cove doesn't charge anything beyond your normal subscription.

Cove Money is not affiliated with or endorsed by ubank. The ubank name is used only to identify the institution. Product availability through the Consumer Data Right is determined by ubank and can change.
