Security, consent, and control.

Learn how Cove Money handles read-only Consumer Data Right bank connections, consent, bank credentials, core Australian-hosted data, and privacy.

Cove Money is built around read-only access, consent-based data sharing, and clear privacy controls. It uses Australia's Consumer Data Right framework through Fiskil so you can connect eligible bank data without giving Cove Money your bank login credentials.

Read-only access

Cove Money receives bank data on a read-only basis. It can help show accounts, balances, transactions, bills, and cashflow. It cannot move money, make payments, or change anything in your bank.

Bank credentials stay with your bank

Cove Money does not receive or store your bank login credentials. Authentication and consent are handled through the CDR flow made available by your bank, Fiskil, and the CDR framework.

Consent is opt-in

The Consumer Data Right is opt-in. Consent requirements explain what data is shared, who can access it, how it will be used, how long access lasts, and how consent can be managed or withdrawn.

Data hosting and providers

Core application and financial data for Cove Money are hosted in Australia. Fiskil's CDR Policy states that CDR Data handled by Fiskil resides in Australia. Cove Money also uses trusted providers for supporting services such as authentication, transactional email, and approved AI infrastructure.

No advertising use of CDR data

Cove Money does not sell CDR Data. Cove Money does not use CDR Data for advertising or unrelated direct marketing.
